About Our Naturopathic Doctors
We are a team of naturopathic doctors who primarily practice virtually in order to service patients from all across Ontario. We have in-person appointments in Ottawa at Sante Health Beechwood in New Edinburgh. For patients living in other parts of Ottawa, such as Barrhaven, Hintonburg, Centretown, Orleans, and everywhere in between, we take patient appointments virtually.
Our Mission
Our goal is to fill the health care gap in Ottawa. As licensed naturopathic doctors, we have a minimum of 8-years of post-secondary education, and up to 15+ years of clinic experience to properly assess and diagnose medical concerns, as well as help our patients navigate the Ontario health care system, so that they can access the care they need.
Our Team
Our naturopathic doctors work collaboratively, meeting weekly to review difficult and complex cases. We also communicate with our patients’ other health care providers to ensure that the patient remains the central hub of their health care team.

Lab Testing in Ottawa
Our naturopathic doctors rely heavily on objective lab results, and have an extensive list of lab testing available. For most blood draw and urine sample testing, we use either Dynacare or Lifelabs, both of which have locations across Ottawa and Ontario. We also use more advanced functional medicine testing where testing kits are shipped to the patient’s home, and stool, urine, or saliva samples are collected by the patient and shipped securely to the lab for testing.
Coverage, billing, and cost transparency
We don’t want you to have any surprises. Fees for appointments and lab testing is always given up front.
Most extended health insurance plans cover naturopathic doctors, and we are able to direct bill for most insurance companies. This saves you from having to pay up front out of pocket.
Costs that may come outside of the visit are foods, herbs, and supplements. We do our best to make sure there is a balance between efficacy and cost, and of course always work with you to lock in our treatment plan suggestions.
Our Services
Each of our naturopathic doctors has a special area of focus, and a different personal, clinical, and academic background that allows us to offer competent care to an array of patients and for a variety of conditions.
Hormones & Women's Health
Women’s health is the cornerstone of our practice. We see women of all different shapes, sizes and background, and not only assess and address hormonal imbalances, but also ensure that all of her other systems are working well.
Digestive Health (IBS & SIBO)
Digestion is not only important for ensuring that we are taking in all the nutrients our body needs, but symptoms of digestive upset can be truly debilitating and interfere with our daily life. Our naturopathic doctors will do a thorough assessment to determine the root cause of your digestive concern, so that you can get back to feeling normal.
Skin Health & Dermatology
Our skin is a big part of how we present ourselves to the world, and it can be how our body expresses it’s concerns. Acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and hives are some of the ways our body is communicating an issue. Our naturopathic doctors can look at your gut health, stress, sleep and more to determine why your skin is doing more work than it should, and can create a plan to reset the systems needed to calm your skin.
Many of us are living intense unbalanced lives. Our nervous systems are powerful and resilient, but need release and recover to tolerate high demands. Our naturopathic doctors can work with you to determine the triggers and deficiencies contributing to stress, and can create a plan to help bring your nervous system back from the brink.
It’s time to be heard.
Take charge of your health by speaking with a health consultant who is knowledgeable, and who really listens.

FAQ
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes! Most of our appointments are virtual. However, we will soon be returning to the office, and will be able to accommodate some in-person appointments in Ottawa, Mississauga, and Toronto.
I live outside of Ottawa. Can I still see you as a patient?
Of course! Most of our patients are virtual, from across Ontario. Luckily Dynacare and Lifelabs have lab testing facilities across the province, so we have no obstacle to doing a thorough assessment with patients who are out of town.
What about physical exams?
As we do mainly hormonal health, digestion and burnout, most of the relevant objective information comes from lab testing. In addition, most of our patients have already seen their medical doctor who has performed a physical exam with no relevant findings. There are some circumstances when physical exams are warranted, and in these cases we ask the patient to come into one of our offices (Ottawa, Mississauga or Toronto – east), or we refer to another practitioner local to them (their family doctor, nurse practitioner or another ND).
Do you see patients in english and french?
Technically we only see patient in English comfortably. But! Some of our naturopaths have excellent french comprehension and immersion level french language skills. We are just not fully bilingual, so don’t feel comfortable claiming to be so.
Which areas of Ottawa do your patients come from?
Our patients are from all across Ottawa and the surrounding area (as well as all across Ontario via Virtual appointments) – Nepean, Kanata, Barrhaven, Gloucester, Orleans, Hintonburg, Glebe, Vanier, New Edinburgh, Centretown, Sandyhill, etc.
